Executive Committee Minutes- - 22-06-08
-In attendance: Jim Samsell, Joe Podesta, Terry Overstreet, Kevin Lilly, Henry Krippner.
 
-Meeting was held at Shoney's Restaurant on Whiskey Road in Aiken, South Carolina.
 
-Presided by President, Jim Samsell.  Range Officer, Terry Overstreet, thanked The Gun Rack for helping to distribute our business cards.
 
Hydro seeding has been done, the watering system has been changed to separate circuits and a disconnect box added.  Jim added that a new controller is now installed and working.
 
The grass on top of the berms has been cut so the sprinklers will now work as planned.
 
 
-Armorer, Kevin Lilly- No Report
-Vice President, Joe Podesta- No Report
-President, Jim Samsel, reported that adding crush and run to parking area will be delayed while we observe conditions there.
 
-Old Business- Jim Samsel reported earlier that the club has brass available (once fired) at 4 cents each.
List includes: 7000 pcs. of 45 cal. match
                    2000 pcs. of 30-06 military
                      500 M-1carbine

New Business- Terry is acquiring some new targets for our use.  Henry Krippner reported that the Habitat ReStore may have some steel brackets that can be used for target support.
-Terry Overstreet was asked to send our thanks to the NRA for the $3000 grant money we received to do work on our ranges.
-Henry Krippner suggested that we install a six foot fence along the road at the left pistol berm to reduce our inquisitive nuisance.  He will get information on costs.
-Gun Show- July 26 & 27 in Columbia, S.C. at Jamil Shrine Center.  Location is 206 Jamil Road.
