- Executive Committee Minutes 27-07-08
- In Attendance: Jim Samsell, Roger Ward, Kevin Lilly, Terry Overstreet,
Henry Krippner.
- Meeting was held at Shoney's Restaurant in Aiken, S.C., began at 7:20 P.M.
- Treasurer, Roger report: Membership at 81 tonight; Financials solid.
- Range Officer, Terry, reported that he has completed much work at the
range using his son as a helper. Has buckets for brass only and for
mixed.
On the pistol ranges,
Jim and Terry are setting up new racks- Please be conscious of work being done
there. The NRA Grant project has been completed and the file closed.
Secretary has the file.
- Armorer, Kevin- (7) M-1's and (6) target 22's are available for club
members to check out.
Old Business
- Jim still has brass available (once fired)-7000
pcs. of 45 cal. match, 200 pcs. of 30-06 military, 500 M-1 carbine.

- S.C> "Cowboy Shooters" showed
interest in joining up at our range, but have opted for the Mid-Carolina
Range.
- Discussion of possible 6 ft. privacy fence of 200
ft. at roadside next to pistol ranges: We will defer to a later date.
Cost is between $12 & $15/ft.
New Business

2 new members voted in- now at 83.

A range budget of $100/mo. was approved for the Range Officer for the
balance of this year.

NRA is conducting a Range Management seminar on Sat., October 3 and SRRPC
will pay for fee and gas for members interested in taking it and reporting
to us for Club benefit.
