For March, the temperature was supposedly above normal. It may have started out that way, but the mercury dropped all day long.  The wind blasting from the W-SW at 29, gusting to 40, was above normal! The four and eight foot tall wind flags were of little use. At times, you could see one was indicating any direction, like Heinz Field in Pittsburgh . Six shooters took on the conditions, three each from SRRPC and MCRC.  Wayne Robinson was out with a seasonal malady, so Larry and Mical stepped up to take charge of the scoring in the first match. The wind finally beat Mical down in the second match. Somehow, Gordon Baker and Ed Sharp managed to improve their totals in Hunting vs. Silhouette Rifle scores.

Thanks to all participants who showed up and assisted as able in set up, paperwork, and break down.  The fellowship was great, it was a safe match, and we all hope to see more competitors in the future. I was hoping Jethro (MCRC) would attend to assist with the local HVAC fan problem.  More SRRPC shooters to help heat the place up would have been appreciated and made the day more enjoyable.
