High-Power Service Rifle Match

Where:  SRRPC outdoor range

When:  the second Saturday of every month, if there is enough interest.

These are NOT sanctioned or approved matches.  They are open to the public.  No awards or prizes will be given.

Match Fees:  $5.00 per shooter for members, $10.00 per shooter for non-members

Ammo needed:  a minimum of 10 sighter shots and 50 rounds for score.

Course of Fire: 
10 shots, standing, slow fire, 10 minutes
10 shots, standing to sitting, rapid fire with one reload, 60 seconds,
10 shots, standing to prone, rapid fire with one reload, 70 seconds,
20 shots, prone, slow fire, 20 minutes

Targets:  All targets will be reduced size, and all at 100 yards.

Saturday Matches - Range opens for practice at 0730 AM.  Match to start at 8 AM.
Sunday Matches - Range opens for practice at 1 PM.  Match to start at 1:30 PM.

What to bring:  centerfire rifle, rug or shooting mat to lay on, spotting scope or binoculars, at least two magazines for your rifle, EAR and EYE PROTECTION, shooting jacket, heavy glove for non-shooting hand, water to drink.

If you want to bring your scoped, centerfire hunting rifle, you can.  This will be a separate class with eight (8) shot strings instead of 10 shot strings.  You will use the same targets and shoot the same times.
